SEATTLE UNITED’s  Player Programs use a variety of training methods and experienced coaches to maximize player performance. By exposing our players to different methods, different coaches and different programs, we aim to create well-rounded athletes whose soccer development continues on an upward trajectory.

Seattle United offers additional programs to members of our club and players within Seattle Youth Soccer.

SEATTLE UNITED’s Player Development Academy (PDA) programs use a variety of training methods and experienced coaches to maximize player performance.  By exposing our players to different methods, different coaches and different programs, we aim to create well-rounded athletes whose soccer development continues on an upward trajectory.  While none of these courses/programs will be mandatory for our players, we feel strongly that our offerings will be an integral part of our players’ development in the years to come. For ages U8-U15

Speed is the newest and most desired skill in the game soccer.  The good news about this change in developmental focus is the fact that ‘Speed is Skill’ and can be learned through technique training, repetition, fun and a systematic training program.

The new Seattle United Speed, Agility and Quickness (SAQ) program will help players build the skills, habits, mentality and technical foundation necessary to achieve a new level of soccer speed and control, as well as game day success and personal achievement.

SEATTLE UNITED's Juniors Program is an advanced development program for players who are not offered a spot in the U10 Developmental Pool, as well as any other players who desire a more formal training program, or simply more soccer, to supplement their recreational team experience. The program is open to any SYSA player in the U8, U9 and U10 age groups.

The Seattle United Advanced Training Program (ATP) is open to ALL Seattle United players.  The ATP is comprised of several courses that aim to break the game down to very specialized components.  Each course will provide high-paced, intensive technical and/or tactical training in one specific area (finishing, dribbling, etc.) and will give each player the opportunity to get extra sessions in outside of their team environment.
