About Seattle United

Seattle United is the vibrant new youth soccer club that brings together all of the premier and select teams in Seattle and Shoreline under one management. This club represents an exciting new approach for Seattle soccer. By placing all of the teams in one organization, Seattle players and families benefit from a full service club that provides seamless, high quality playing opportunities from entry-level select all the way to top-level premier.

Our core philosophy is one of collaboration and inclusion. With efficiency and professionalism at every level, Seattle United is committed to developing youth soccer players to their fullest potential and to support this process through their development. It is designed to provide the highest quality soccer experience for all its players, families, teams and coaches through top competitive and training opportunities, regional options, seamless vertical integration, and good governance principles.

--Access & Mobility: Players may move from team to team when appropriate for player development, using a system available to all SU teams. Opportunities for guest play will abound.

--Development Academy: Our Academy provides younger recreational players U-9 to U-12 additional training opportunities that are professionally coached, high quality, and age appropriate, and facilitates a smooth transition to select/premier teams for capable players.

--Seattle Sounders FC Training Centers: SU is collaborating with Washington Youth Soccer to participate in the Seattle Sounders Regional Training Centers. Sounders FC is partnering with Washington Youth Soccer to offer a statewide player development system beginning in 2010. This partnership will create an elite talent program to develop the highest level players, ages 13- 17, as well as provide training for coaches and players from other levels of play.
