COACH ZAHRA LECHAK
Zahra is a product of the Puget Sound youth soccer community. She starred at Puyallup High School where she played varsity soccer for 4 years. Zahra played her club soccer with F.C. Royals Women’s Premier Soccer Club. During her youth playing, Zahra made the Washington ODP State Team 3 years, the ODP Regional Pool 3 years and the ODP Youth National Pool (U21s) 1 year.
She went on to star at the University of Connecticut (UCONN) where she was a 2 year co-captain of the Women’s Soccer Team.
Zahra has played 8 years with the Seattle Sounders Women’s Team during which time the team was Conference Champion, reached the W-League Final Four (4 years), and 3rd place in W-League Nationals (2 years).
Zahra has coached at both the youth and collegiate levels. Her youth coaching resume includes 4 years as a Head Coach with Dosveedanya FC Premier Club and 1 year as Academy Coach. Zahra is currently a Sounders RTC/ODP Head Coach with the Washington State ODP program (GU15/GU16) and was recently named to the Region IV ODP coaching staff.
She received her BS in Molecular Cell Biology and Chemistry from the University of Connecticut.
Zahra holds a USSF National “B” license.
