Four GU15 Copa Players in the state's Elite Player Development Program (EPD)!

EPD is the state program that puts an umbrella around the development avenues open to the state's elite players, combining current programs such as ODP, RTC's, etc.  The Seattle United GU15 Copa team has (4) four players that have been selected to the ODP state pool for the 96 age group..  Amber (GK) played on the 96 ODP state team and was invited to Regional Camp in 2008/09, trained at the RTC's in 2009/10, and has recently been selected to once again be in the 2010/11 state ODP pool.  Alissa (F & Mid) and Linnea (D & Mid) have been on the 96 ODP state team from 2008-11, and were invited to Regional Camp the last two years.  Last, but not least, Mia (D & Mid) has also been on the 96 ODP state team from 2008-11, and invited to Regional Camp the last 2 years.  At Regional Camp this past summer, Mia was one of only two players in the state of WA for the 96 age group to be selected to the ODP National Pool!  Great job ladies!

League Play

This team competed in Division 1 of the Player Development League (PDL) in spring of 2010, which was the highest competition available in Washington Youth Soccer leagues.  The girls tied 5 out of 7 games and only gave up a total of 4 goals against in those 7 games.

In the Spring of 2011, the team will participate in Division 1 of the RCL (which essentially replaced the PDL), which is the highest level of competition now available in Washington Youth Soccer leagues.
