Bill has over 30 years playing and youth coaching experience. He was a member of the MTYSA Bullets that won 2 State Championships during his time on the squad. Bill attended Lynnwood High School in Lynnwood, Wash., where he was selected to the All-League team his senior year.
During his collegiate career, Bill was a four-year letterman at Pacific Lutheran University with three of these years with him selected as team captain. PLU won the Northwest Conference League Title three of his years and Bill attained All-League honors.
Upon graduation from PLU, Wilkins commenced with the coaching portion of his soccer career. He logged 10 years with the Lynnwood High School Girls Squad. After that, Bill coached youth soccer with Northwest Christian, Silver Lake (late Evergreen Soccer Club), Hillwood Soccer Club and FC Shoreline. During his youth coaching, Bill has coached squads to four State League division titles, 1 Challenge Cup Semifinal, 2 Challenge Cup Finals, and 2 Challenge Cup Championships.
Wilkins received his undergraduate degree from Pacific Lutheran University. He holds a USSF National “B” license, an NSCAA Regional Goalkeeping Diploma and an NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma. Bill is an active member of the Seattle United Development Academy staff.
