Joanie has over 20 years playing and 11 years youth coaching experience.

She graduated from Interlake High School where she was a 3-time All King County selection. Joanie played for Spokane Community College where she was a 1st Team All League selection. She went on to play for the Seattle Sounders Women of the USL W-League for 5 years, including a Final Four appearance in 2003.  Joanie was invited to try out with the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) New York Power.  She also attended the fall camp with the WUSA's San Jose Cyberrays.  Joanie was a member of Forza, a team that won three US Adult Soccer Association (USASA) Women's Over-30 National Championships.

Snorsky's coaching resume includes 11 years of youth soccer club coaching. She has three years with Newport Soccer Club and ten years with the Emerald City Football Club.  Joanie has also served as assistant coach at Shoreline Community College.

Snorsky received her B.A. in Physical Education and Health from Washington State University.
