Ken joined Seattle United for the club’s inaugural year bringing a wealth of experience in teaching soccer.
During his youth, Ken played for the Madison 56ers SC premier team from age 12 to 21. He was a member of the Wisconsin 1st Division Championship team.
Missed only 15 minutes of play in 3 years of varsity play at James Madison Memorial H.S. in Madison. 3 year starter, All-City.
He has played in Greater Seattle soccer area leagues for over 15 years.
He has 16 years coaching youth soccer and 11 years in select and premier soccer. Ken has been head coach of 17 select teams and assistant coach to 15 additional select teams, many which have played in the Washington State Premier Leagues. Ken coach 2 years with the Emerald City FC club.
This is his 16th coaching year with Seattle Youth Soccer. Ken was director and founder of the Metropolitan FC and Badger FC. This Seattle based program grew from 1 team in 2001 to 8 teams in 2007.
Ken has extensive experience base in premier, select and recreational player development in the Seattle area in player and team development along with academy, camp and personal training development throughout the area and will be continues to be very involved with our Juniors Program.
