Chochi Valenzuela -- Founding Club Coach

Chochi Valenzuela

Chochi joins Seattle United with a deep experience in playing, coaching and speed and fitness training.

He was a 3-time All-American at USC-Spartanburg and was an inducted into the university's Athletic Hall of Fame.  Following college, Chochi had a 10 year professional playing career.

As a coach and developmental instructor, Chochi brings over 30 years of camp, team coaching and player development experience to the club.

He is a former Cal South ODP Assessor.  He was Director of New Mexico Soccer Schools.  He has been theWestern Regional Director of Star Goal Keeper Academy.  He has held head coach assignments wtih Tacoma Community College Men's Program and  most recently with Washington Rush Soccer Club.

He is director of one of the pre-eminent soccer-specific speed conditioning business in the Western United States.  In this capacity, Chochi trains coaches on the west coach in the methodologies of speed-specific training. He is a presenter at state and national soccer conferences for speed training.  He was Speed & Agility Director for Mesa College Men's Soccer program.

Chochi holds a USSF National "B" coaching license.  He also holds a US Youth Soccer National Youth License and an NSCAA State Diploma.  He holds an ICA Soccer Conditioning Diploma.
