Seattle United

My name is Sergio Fajardo and I was born in Guatemala. I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. I played soccer all through high school and two years of college. I moved to Seattle 1993 and I have been playing recreational soccer. I have coached recreational and select soccer. I have been coaching for 10 years and 3 of years have been with Seattle United. I love and have a passion for this sport. I’m excited to continue coaching, so that I can help kids to develop their soccer skills; as well as their confidence to play well and enjoy the sport.

My Philosophy

I want players to develop passion for soccer. If it's not fun, players will lose that passion. By applying positive reinforcement to develop confidence, and motivation techniques that create a burning desire to improve, players will learn to always think about how they can be better.
