Player Evaluation
On-line Player Evaluations
Zoom is an exciting new tool that our coaches will be using to provide feedback to their players.
Parents will receive an email welcoming them to Zoom Reports and asking them to login, setup their account, and establish a new password. Go ahead and set up your account; a subsequent email from your coach or manager will tell you when the initial feedback is ready.
At two or more points during the season, coaches will enter evaluations for players, giving feedback on particular soccer skills, fitness and attitude. Beyond simple ratings, the coaches will use Zoom to give detailed and constructive developmental feedback.
Initially, families will connect to Zoom through parent or guardian emails – over time, we may look at player access to the system, particularly for the older age groups. By keeping evaluation history, players will be able to see progress.
Player self-evaluations will help player and coach build a shared development plan. Zoom will also give coaches at future tryouts additional background to help improve evaluations and placement.
