Playing Experience:
Interestingly, I did not play much as a kid. Fell in love with the sport later in life.
Team Successes as a Coach:
My youngest daughter's U11 rec team won the Seattle City Tournament in their division in 2024
My oldest daughter's U12 and U11 rec teams finished 4th and 3rd in the Seattle City Tournament in 2023 and 2022 respectively
I have not lost a game as Hamilton International's JV soccer coach for either boys or girls in three seasons.
Best Coaching Memory:
Probably winning the Seattle City Tournament, but also when I run into players I have coached, and they update me on their progress in life.
Player Expectations or Advice:
Don't worry so much about how you compare versus others, just focus on being better than what you were yesterday! And always give it 1000% on the pitch.
