redapt scholarship application
  • The Redapt Scholarship Program at Seattle United provides two merit-based
    scholarships that will be awarded annually to one male and one female Seattle United
    player who are graduating high school seniors
    . Through Redapt’s generous support of
    the club, each scholarship is worth $5,000.

    To be considered for a Redapt Scholarship, please complete the following and submit
    your responses to Kyle Rodeheaver at kyler@seattleunited.com by June 9, 2025.
    Please insert 2025 Redapt Scholarship in your email subject line. All submissions will
    be strictly confidential. The Redapt Scholarship Committee will determine winners.
    Winners will be announced via the club’s web site and social media in June.

    1. Please provide a brief personal statement. This should include your name, age,
    high school name, GPA, information about your family, and current/last Seattle
    United team name and coach.

    2. What are your academic interests?

    3. Write a short essay describing areas where you have demonstrated leadership
    and overcome obstacles either through your school, social, or family life.

    4. List any honors and awards you have received.

    5. What are your community interests? How have you demonstrated a commitment to
    those interests?

    6. What is the most difficult challenge you have faced? How did you handle it?

    7. If awarded, what do you plan to do with the Redapt Scholarship? Please list any
    additional comments you believe would be helpful to the committee.
